SMART LIGHTING
Panelized lighting runs on the Control4 BUS and is the strongest option for new construction. Every circuit is wired back to a central panel, which gives the cleanest scene control and the most reliable long-term performance, since there's no reliance on wireless signal strength or battery-powered devices.
This is what we recommend whenever a project is still at the electrical drawing stage, since running the wiring during construction is far simpler and cheaper than retrofitting it later. Once installed, a panelized system tends to need the least maintenance of any lighting setup we offer.

LUX
Lux by Control4 is the premium tier of keypads, dimmers, switches, and outlets, built for clients who want their lighting hardware to look as considered as the rest of the interior.
Every Lux keypad is laser-engraved and available across 19 designer colors and three finish options, including premium metal faceplates, so the hardware can be matched to the room instead of picked from a standard white or black option. Lux is available in both wired and wireless versions, and includes a built-in ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts backlighting to match the room.
Wireless lighting uses Control4's Zigbee Pro system, letting us add full smart lighting control to an existing home without opening up walls or replacing wiring. It's the practical choice for renovations, or any property where the electrical work is already finished.
Scenes, scheduling, and keypad control all work the same way as a wired system. The trade-off is that wireless devices depend on battery life and signal strength rather than a hardwired connection, a small compromise most clients find worthwhile given how much less invasive the install is..

USER
INTERFACE
Every Control4 lighting system is controlled the same way, whether the wiring behind it is panelized, wireless, or Lux. You can use the Control4 app on your phone, a wall-mounted touch panel, or a keypad, and all three stay in sync automatically. Turn on a light from the app and the physical keypad reflects it instantly, and the same in reverse.
The interface itself uses Control4's current X4 operating system, built around Favorites and Quick Actions so the lights you use most are never more than one tap away, with Routines available if you want scenes to run automatically on a schedule rather than triggered manually.
LIGHTING
Scenes
A scene brings multiple lights to a preset level with one tap, instead of adjusting each one individually. "Good Morning" might bring the whole house up gradually as you wake, while "Movie Night" dims the living room and turns off anything that would cause glare on the screen.
Scenes can be triggered manually from the app or a keypad, run automatically on a schedule, or tied to another event, arriving home, sunset, an alarm going off. Once a scene is set up, it works the same way every time, so the house responds the same regardless of who in the family triggers it.
ELEGANT
FINISHES
Lighting hardware doesn't have to look like hardware. Keypads, dimmers, and outlets are available in a range of finishes, from clean satin white and matte black to premium metal faceplates in designer colors, so the switch plate matches the room instead of standing out against it.
This matters most in majlis areas, entryways, and other formal spaces where every detail of the interior has been considered, the lighting controls should hold up to that same standard, not feel like an afterthought added after the design was finished.
