Control4 is the automation platform we build every whole-home system around. Instead of separate apps for lighting, climate, security cameras, and entertainment, Control4 brings them into one interface — a wall-mounted touch panel, your phone, or voice control — so the house responds to a handful of simple commands instead of a dozen logins.
As a Control4 Gold Dealer in Muscat, we design the system around how you actually use the house: a morning routine that opens the shades and starts the coffee playlist, a single "movie night" button that dims the lights and drops the screen, an "away" mode that locks up and arms security in one tap. The pages below cover each part of the system in more detail — lighting, comfort, security, audio, and video.
SMARTHOME
CONTROL4
X4 is Control4's newest operating system, replacing OS 3 across the app, touchscreens, and interface. It's faster and cleaner, built around what you actually use day to day.
The home screen leads with your Favorites and whatever's playing, with a Quick Actions bar for lighting, shades, music, and security. Routines let you build your own automations right in the app, shades up at sunrise, music with your alarm, without calling us for every small change.
X4 also runs more locally rather than leaning on the cloud, so it's quicker and more reliable if your internet drops.
If you're already on Control4, upgrading to X4 usually doesn't mean new hardware. A few older controllers and touchscreens are the exception; we'll check yours during a site visit. If you're new to Control4, X4 is what we install on every project.

CONTROL4
MASTER THE ART OF HOME CONTROL
With Control4, you hold the power to effortlessly command every aspect of your home. From lighting and climate to security and entertainment, our comprehensive platform puts you in control. Seamlessly manage and customize your home's ambiance, comfort, and security with ease. Experience the ultimate convenience and elevate your living with Control4.
C4 LIGHTING
Wired or Wireless
We install two types of Control4 lighting: panelized (wired) for new builds, and wireless for renovations where re-cabling isn't practical.
Panelized lighting runs on the Control4 BUS and gives the cleanest, most reliable control, ideal for new construction. Wireless lighting uses Control4's Zigbee Pro system, letting us add smart control to an existing home without opening up walls.
Both support the same scenes and keypad control: a "Good Morning" scene, a "Movie Night" dim, or simple per-room control from a keypad, panel, or phone. Keypads come in a range of finishes to match your interior.
We'll walk your home with you to recommend what fits your build stage and budget.
COMFORT
Shades | Curtains | HVAC
Comfort covers AC control, and motorized shades and curtains, all run from the same Control4 interface as the rest of the house.
AC control lets you set schedules and adjust temperature per zone, automating cooling around when rooms are actually in use. That matters in Oman's climate both for comfort and for keeping cooling costs down. Instead of every split unit having its own remote, everything is managed from one app or panel.
Motorized shades and curtains work the same way: scheduled to open at sunrise, close automatically when the AC kicks in, or drop into a "movie night" scene alongside the lighting and screen.
INTERCOM
Anywhere
Intercom Anywhere connects your gate, door stations, and internal rooms so you can see and speak to whoever's there from any panel, phone, or tablet in the system, not just a handset by the front door.
A call from the gate or main entrance rings every panel in the house at once. You can answer, view the camera feed, and release the door or gate lock from wherever you are, including remotely if you're not home. It also works as an internal room-to-room intercom, useful in larger villas.
We typically pair this with 2N or Control4-compatible video door stations and integrate it directly with your security and access control, so the intercom, cameras, and locks all run as one system instead of three separate ones.
NETWORKING
WiFi | Data | Voice
Every smart home system depends on the network underneath it. This is the part of the project that doesn't show, but decides whether everything else actually works.
We design structured cabling from the ground up on new builds, running Cat6/6A and fiber to the right locations before walls close. On existing homes, we retrofit enterprise-grade WiFi (typically Ubiquiti or Cisco Meraki) where a single router isn't covering the property. This includes proper access point placement for full coverage, network segmentation so guest WiFi, cameras, and your automation system don't interfere with each other, and remote monitoring to catch issues early.
SECURITY
CCTV | Sensors | Alarm | Locks
Security in a Control4 home isn't a separate app from everything else. Cameras, door and window sensors, smart locks, and intrusion alarms all run on the same system as your lighting and climate, so an "away" scene locks the doors, arms the sensors, and shuts off unnecessary devices in one action.
We install and integrate CCTV (typically Hikvision), Ajax intrusion and life-safety sensors, and HID or ASSA ABLOY smart locks, all tied into Control4. You get real-time alerts on your phone for motion, door and window events, or alarm triggers, and can pull up any camera feed from home or away.
For villas and larger properties, we also cover the perimeter: gate cameras, driveway sensors, and access control at the gate itself, so the whole property is covered, not just the interior.
MULTI-ROOM
Wired and Wireless Audio
Multi-room audio lets you play different music in different rooms at once, or sync the same track through the whole house, all controlled from your phone, a wall panel, or voice.
We build these systems around Triad in-wall and in-ceiling speakers and Control4's audio matrix hardware, with each zone independently controlled for source and volume. It works directly with streaming services and voice assistants, so asking for a song works the same in the kitchen as it does in the majlis.
Outdoor and pool-area audio zones are common additions for villas, weatherproof speakers on the same system, controlled the same way as everything indoors.
Theater Dolby Atmos
HOME
A proper home cinema runs as one system, not a stack of separate remotes. Projector, screen, surround sound, lighting, and shades all respond to a single "Movie Night" command.
For our higher-end cinema builds, we typically spec Sony laser projectors, Screen Innovations or Elite acoustically transparent screens, Panamorph anamorphic lenses matched to the specific projector, Paradigm CI Elite speakers, and Anthem AV processing and amplification, the same tier of equipment used in dedicated cinema rooms, sized correctly for the room's acoustics rather than pulled from a generic package.
One button dims the lights, closes the shades, drops the screen, and switches the source, then raises everything back to normal when the film ends. We design these rooms from acoustics and seating distance first, then select equipment to match.
MULTI-ROOM
Distributive Video
Multi-room video distributes any source, satellite, streaming apps, a Blu-ray player, or a security camera feed, to any screen in the house, with each room able to watch something different or the same content at once.
This runs on Control4's AV-over-IP distribution hardware, so adding a new screen later doesn't mean re-running cable through finished walls. It's added onto the existing network video matrix. Playback can be paused in one room and picked up in another, all controlled from the same interface as the rest of the house.
This is usually specified alongside multi-room audio for a full whole-home entertainment build, but it works as a standalone addition too.
Control Everything
MEDIA
Media control replaces the pile of remotes on the coffee table with one interface, a Control4 remote, touch panel, or the app on your phone, that runs the TV, streaming boxes, satellite receiver, and audio system together.
Switching from live TV to a streaming app, adjusting volume, or changing inputs all happens from the same screen, and it works with voice assistants for hands-free control. Combined with a "Movie Night" or "Watch TV" scene, one tap brings up the right input, lighting, and sound automatically.
